Edison Point Wildlife Area is maintained by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers at Pine Flat Lake. This trail is well frequented and fairly easy, but a bit of a challenge if you aren’t used to hiking. Mountain biking is allowed but can become very difficult with the steep curves and the vegetation. The loop itself is approximately 2 miles, and we recommend that you begin your hike using the left entrance. The hike is hilly and the trail is relatively narrow. If you follow the main trail, you will discover a viewing bench at the end of the trail on Edison Point, which overlooks the lake.

Q Is this trail family friendly?

There are a couple of steep grades, children under 3 should be worn in hiking carriers or harnessed for safety.

Q Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are allowed on leash only.
